New bamboo flute - 6 holes with root end and U-Shape Dong-Xiao. "Dong" (洞 means "Hole"), Xiao (簫 means Flute). The base key is D (when all holes closed it plays to "D"), and it plays to "G" with the lower 3 holes open.
This bamboo flute is made of madake bamboo -- the ideal bamboo for making flutes.
